Rock Rapids, Iowa — Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding a learning session about identity theft this coming Wednesday.

On August 8th, Sunshine Foods Deli in Rock Rapids will be hosting the ISU Extension to discover how to detect scams, and defend yourself against financial loss.

At the seminar, they will discuss the facts of the recent Equifax Data Breach, recommended urgent consumer next steps, phishing scams related to the breach, tools to safeguard your credit information, and future actions and identity theft resources.
