Marianne Groen, age 65, of George, died Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Hope Reformed Church with Rev. Steve De Haan, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery at George, IA.

John Pudwill age 92, of Rock Rapids, formerly of Emery South Dakota,  died December 22, 2022, at the Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids.

A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 27^th at the United Christian Church in Rock Rapids, with Rev. Corilee Boer officiating.

Vistiation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Emery Community Cemetery in Emery, South Dakota.

Winerva Hulstein, age 92, of George, formerly of Sioux Center, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society in George.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Jurrens Funeral Home in George, Iowa with Reverend Duane Tinklenberg officiating.  Interment will follow a time of fellowship at the Carmel Cemetery or rural Rock Valley.

A visitation will be held from 10:00AM on Monday until the time of the service.

Geraldine L. DeBerg age 81, of Stanton MI, formerly of Belding, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at home, with her family at her side under the care of Spectrum Hospice.

At Geraldine’s request there will be no funeral service and she will be laid to rest with a private service with family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Seeds Family Church. Geraldine was born November 17, 1941 in Brewster, Minnesota the daughter of Gilbert G. & Leila B. (Westerbur) Marsh. She retired from Crystal Flash and loved to bake, cook and do crafts. Geraldine is survived by her children Brian (Diane) DeBerg of Sheridan, Timothy (Amy) DeBerg of Gowen and Bonnie (Paul) Petersen of Sheridan; three grandchildren Zachery Petersen of Belding, Trevor Petersen of Sheridan and Tori & (Joey) Carey of Belding; three great grandchildren Emmett DeBerg, Jonathon & Savanah Carey; sister law Caroline Marsh of Kennawa, Washington and many extra friends that called her mom and grandma She was preceded in death by her parents George & Leila Marsh, husband Arvin E. DeBerg on September 21, 2020, grandson Tad DeBerg on July 4, 2014, brother Richard Marsh and her sisters Joan Reese and Sharon Marsh.

William Vust, age 73, of George, died Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in George, with Pastor Bryan Anderson, officiating.  Graveside services will follow in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery at George.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

Bruce Lynn Rosenberg, age 76, of Ellsworth, Minnesota, died Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Funeral will be 10:30 am Thursday at Zion Presbyterian Church, in Ellsworth, officiated by Pastor Randall Knuth.

Burial with full military honors provided by the Ellsworth American Legion, will be in the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Ellsworth.
